A month has past since my last update here and this time we combined our visit to the environmental photo festival in Zingst (Horizonte Zingst)with a long discussed and planned shooting with lovely Susanna.
We met together with Christian at sunrise which ist at this time of the year already at 4:45AM. We were rewarded with an empty beach and an intense red glow followed by golden light that unfortunately only lasted for 30 minutes. Not a single cloud just clear blue skies made the light very harsh right away.
While Christian followed other projects we decided to visit an abandoned farm with stunning large building that kept us from getting a severe sunburn. Inside it was a little cooler but mosquitos were quite present and disturbing. We only had about half a day for shooting nudes but Susanna returned for another half day and we went to the same place again. This time Carl Zeiss provided me with an Otus 85mm 1.4 – a heavy, bulky but brilliant lens to work with. As alway – a few more images are still in the making and will flow into the galleries once they are ready.
